Clarity. Purpose. Courage.

I work with leaders to help them grow in clarity and confidence, navigating the complexity of their roles in order to lead with authenticity, courage, and in full alignment with their values.

Passionate about school leadership

Having been an executive headteacher and worked in schools for over twenty years, I understand the complexities of school leadership — the competing demands and expectations; the ever-evolving challenges; how isolating it can be and the emotional toll it can take.

But I also know the profound joy it can bring, and the incredible impact leaders can have when they lead with clarity, purpose, and courage.

I believe that all leaders can benefit from carving out some time to step back, with someone who can support and challenge their thinking with insight and curiosity.

That’s why I became a coach — because often, what is needed most is a little space to reflect, to find focus and insight, and to grow.

My training as a coach is ICF accredited, and I am also a certified ADHD-informed coach. If you are interested in ADHD coaching click here; otherwise, keep reading below.

Coaching for Leaders

How I Work

My experience as a school leader gives me empathy and deep understanding of your context — but I don’t come with ready-made answers. I believe the most powerful solutions come from you.

Coaching offers a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be truly heard. Together, we’ll explore your thinking, challenge assumptions, and uncover new ways forward — all grounded in a deeper understanding of your strengths and leadership values.

We’ll agree a tailored package of 1:1 coaching sessions aligned with your goals. This might mean a reflective space every half term, or more frequent sessions (weekly or fortnightly) for intensive support around specific challenges. Programmes typically last between 3 and 12 months and are online or in-person.

Who I Work With

I work with schools and trusts that value and invest in their people.

You might be a new head, an experienced school leader or trust executive facing new challenges, or simply someone who wants to take stock and lead with more clarity and purpose.

If you are looking for coaching, it's because you want to make a change. This may be a change in how you connect to your strengths, values, and priorities, in how you manage your day-to-day leadership, or in how you realise your vision across your organisation.

Whether you're early in your leadership journey or seeking to deepen your impact, coaching can offer powerful support as you find your way forward.

Working with Simon was life-changing. His guidance has truly transformed my perspective on challenges.

A page from a book titled 'Aftermath of Buying' focuses on mastering one's mindset. The text advises taking time to meditate, surround yourself with wisdom and understanding, and avoid distractions. It emphasizes setting goals and thriving instead of just surviving.
