Can you help make a change?

We need the system to have a better understanding of the brilliance brought by headteachers who are neurodivergent, and of how to support them to consistently bring this brilliance.

As individuals, we also benefit from sharing mutual support with others who have similar experiences. Being a headteacher isn't easy, and being a neurodivergent headteacher brings particular challenges.

That's why I'm convening a group to help launch Uncommon Heads: a network of current, former, and aspiring headteachers who are neurodivergent.

Through the network we'll share our experiences, challenges, and successes, and realise we're not alone. We'll also gain insights into how our brain differences and our work impact each other, and how to make sure we can always be at our best.
